PlugStream Sentinel: managed support for commercial EV charging sites

Commercial EV charging is becoming an operational requirement for many organisations. Workplaces, fleets, landlords and shared parking sites increasingly depend on chargers being visible, supported and ready to use.

That is why we have launched PlugStream Sentinel.

PlugStream Sentinel is our managed EV charging support, monitoring and migration service for commercial sites. It is designed for organisations that need practical support beyond simply buying a charger.

Sentinel helps with charger monitoring, issue response, user and RFID support, reporting, third-party OCPP migration assessments and staged replacement planning where existing hardware cannot be supported.

Our approach is simple:

Assess first. Preserve where practical. Migrate where possible. Replace only where needed.

This matters because many sites already have charging infrastructure installed. In some cases, supported OCPP-compatible chargers may be suitable for migration into the PlugStream platform. In other cases, a staged replacement plan may be the more reliable option.

Sentinel is available in three packages:

We are also using Sentinel to support customers who are reviewing their options following EO Charging entering administration. PlugStream is not EO Charging and is not affiliated with EO Charging or PwC, but we can help affected customers assess existing sites and identify practical continuity options.

If your organisation needs help managing, supporting or migrating a commercial EV charging estate, PlugStream Sentinel gives you a clear place to start.
